Abby's dance journey began at the age of three right here at Nancy Dianne Studio of Dance, Ltd. She trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Modern, reaching advanced levels at a young age. As a high school student, she participated in our Student Teaching Apprenticeship Program, assisting instructors, many of whom she is now proud to call colleagues. Abby has attended numerous dance conventions and workshops through organizations such as the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters (CNADM) and Dance Masters of Wisconsin (DMW), where she earned multiple scholarships, including the prestigious DMW Carol Noll-Dunning Perpetual College Scholarship.
Abby is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance Performance and Choreography with a minor in Business at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. During her time in college, she has had the opportunity to perform in works choreographed by faculty and nationally recognized guest artists including Alfonso “Fonzy” Cervera, Aysha Upchurch, and Jackie Lopez (aka Miss Funk), an LA-based hip-hop artist and choreographer. She has also been selected to represent her department at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) conference and recently performed in her first commissioned concert, For The Wolves, choreographed by Ashley Ray Garcia in 2024.
Abby brings fresh, contemporary insight, technical excellence, and a deep passion for the art of dance to every class she teaches. She is excited to return to her home studio not just as a former student, but now as an inspiring educator. Her goal is to help the next generation of dancers build confidence, technique, and creativity in a supportive and welcoming environment.
